PANTHERx® Specialty Pharmacy is proud to be a “Teal Partner” sponsor for the 17th Annual Pittsburgh Chapter Run Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer® on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the North Park Pool Loop in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. This is the largest fundraiser for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC). They aim to reach 150 million combined “steps” during these fundraisers across the nation.

The NOCC is committed to promoting education, raising awareness, and raising funds for ovarian cancer research. The organization is made up of “survivors, supporters, and health care professionals” who share these goals.

Ovarian cancer is a devastating condition. 1 in 75 women will be diagnosed with this disease sometime in their life.* Besides its frequency, it also poses challenges since no early detection test exists. Some symptoms can help with early detection, but these symptoms can also be vague or subtle, which can lead to misdiagnosis.
