PANTHERx® Specialty Pharmacy is proud to announce that our Chairman and CEO Dr. Gordon J. Vanscoy has been named to the Board of Directors for the ASHP Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Additionally, Dr. Vanscoy will serve as the Director at Large for the ASHP Foundation, which aims to “improve the health and well-being of patients through appropriate, safe and effective medication use.”

Dr. Vanscoy is a pioneer in the area of specialty pharmacy, teaming an entrepreneurial spirit and pharmaceutical background to start and lead multiple companies prior to PANTHERx® Specialty Pharmacy, including his work as Managing Partner in Relentless Capital, a private healthcare angel investor firm. He also has taken an active role in pharmacy outside of the business sector, serving as an Associate Professor and as Associate Dean for Business Innovation in the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh.
